Hai Duong Thermal Power Plant Project is located in Hai Duong province of Vietnam, with the total capacity of 1200MW, composing of 2 sets steam turbine of 600MW and 4 sets of CFB subcritical boiler, it is one of the largest installed capacity projects in Vietnam. The project is executed in BOT mode with a gross investment of 1,868,500,000 US Dollars.

NWEPDI signed the owner’s engineer service contract with BOT Company Co., Ltd and started to provide owner’s engineer services for the Project in January 2016.

So far, NWEPDI has already completed several services such as reviewing and confirming the basic design and the detail drawings within EPC scope, approving the site documents. NWEPDI also participated in various review meetings, technical negotiations and factory inspect of main equipment, and etc. As the need of the site construction, as the owner’s engineer, NWEPDI also kept providing project construction supervision and management services on the construction site to ensure the project quality, budget and schedule under control.

Up to now, the construction of Hai Duong Thermal Power Plant Project in Vietnam has been well implemented as scheduled. It is expected that the first unit will connect to the grid and put into commercial operation in mid-2020.
